Biography
Anna grew up on skis — starting in the small hills of Finland and eventually racing all over the world. For years, ski racing was her whole life, from early glacier mornings to chasing points across continents. The competitive world taught her discipline, precision, and how to
push her limits. But eventually, she felt the need for something new.Her path in skiing has taken her through some of the most iconic mountains in Europe —from Chamonix to Norway, the Dolomites to Zermatt. Each place shaped her skiing in different ways, influencing not only her style but also her mindset on and off the mountain. After stepping away from racing, Anna discovered a different kind of skiing. No pressure, no stopwatch, just creativity, exploration, and fun. These days, she shuffles between laid-back resort laps and challenges herself in freeride, backcountry, and playful lines that keep the spark alive.
Off the mountain, Anna studied fashion business in Milan and is now building Union, her own outdoor brand for the next generation of explorers. Her passion for purpose-driven design and honest gear made the partnership with DOWN a natural fit. No fluff, just high-quality skis that work. That’s exactly the energy she stands for.
